Nationals sign Chris Heisey to minor-league contract

Outfielder Chris Heisey signed a minor-league deal with the Washington Nationals on Saturday, ESPN's Jerrry Crasnick reports.

Analysis:

Reunited with manager Dusty Baker, Heisey will compete to be the Nationals' fourth outfielder. He received just 72 plate appearances with the Dodgers last year, slashing .182/.347/.327 and hitting two home runs with zero steals.
