Wood spent the entirety of 2015 at the Triple-A level, working to a 3.53 ERA with an impressive 70 strikeouts in 58.2 innings. His last major league stint came in 2014, lasting just 6.1 innings en route to posting a 7.11 ERA, but it looks as though he'll get a chance to make the Reds' Opening Day roster.
