Report: Nationals sign Scott Sizemore to minor-league contract

The Washington Nationals have signed 30-year-old veteran infielder Scott Sizemore to a minor-league deal, Bill Ladson of MLB.com reports.
Sizemore split 2015 between the Triple-A affiliates of the Nationals and Miami Marlins, hitting a combined .263/.369/.354 with three home runs and 25 RBIs in 77 games.
The former fifth-round draft pick has big-league experience with the Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics, and New York Yankees.
He owns a .240/.327/.383 hitting line his career.
