Analysis:
This roster move was a no-brainer for Texas, as Mazara, one of the top prospects in all of baseball, would have otherwise been exposed to the Rule 5 draft. Mazara hit .284/.357/.443 with 13 homers and 56 RBI in 111 games with Double-A Frisco last season as a 20-year-old, earning a promotion to Triple-A for the final 20 games. While many of Friday's 40-man additions will not see the majors in 2016, barring injury Mazara is on a trajectory for a 2016 debut, with the potential to make a fantasy impact right away.
