Brett Anderson accepts qualifying offer from Dodgers

Left-hander Brett Anderson has accepted a one-year, $15.8-million qualifying offer from the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The 27-year-old joins Colby Rasmus and Matt Wieters as the only players ever to accept qualifying offers.
If Anderson can match his 2015 output next season, the southpaw could set himself up for a much bigger payday among the 2016 free-agent pitching class, which is set to include Stephen Strasburg, James Shields, and Gio Gonzalez.
