VIDEO: Montero hit by foul ball waiting on deck

Chicago Cubs catcher Miguel Montero appears to have avoided a serious injury after getting hit in the helmet by a foul ball in the seventh inning of Wednesday's game.

Montero was standing on deck waiting to pinch hit for David Ross when Tommy La Stella's foul ball ricocheted off Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud's mask and hit Montero square on the Cubs' "C."

Montero walked away uninjured, but struck out in his only plate appearance of Game 4.
