The New York Mets are proving they aren't intimidated by some of the top pitchers in the National League.

One night after defeating three-time Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw, the Mets jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on Zack Greinke in Game 2 of the NLDS thanks to a pair of solo homers from Yoenis Cespedes and Michael Conforto.

Cespedes' opposite-field blast to open the scoring in the second inning was on a pitch well outside the strike zone.

Conforto, in his first career postseason at-bat, hit a laser down the right-field line that touched the foul pole to make it 2-0 later in the frame. The rope had an exit velocity of 115 mph, according to Statcast.

Greinke had allowed only 14 home runs all season long, but has shockingly coughed up two in the same inning.
