Astros will start McCullers in Game 4 if necessary

The Houston Astros know who they want on the mound through the first four games of the American League Division Series against the Kansas City Royals.

After Collin McHugh started game 1, Lance McCullers will get the nod in Game 4 - if necessary - following Scott Kazmir and Dallas Keuchel in the team's rotation.

McCullers will pitch opposite Royals right-hander Yordano Ventura, who will pitch on short rest in Game 4.

The 22-year-old rookie right-hander posted a 3.22 ERA in 22 regular-season starts for the Astros.
