VIDEO: Rasmus demolishes Tanaka offering for early Astros lead

Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch continued to roll with Colby Rasmus in the cleanup spot and the outfielder delivered in the the second inning.

After Masahiro Tanaka cruised through the first with a pair of strikeouts, Rasmus greeted the New York Yankees starter by depositing the 93-mph, first-pitch offering into the right-field bleachers.

The blast was Rasmus' first postseason home run and gave the Astros an early 1-0 lead.

The Astros are 58-21 this season when scoring first, while the Yankees are 23-51 when allowing the opposition to open the scoring.
