Suzuki will be resigned by the Marlins for the 2016 season, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

While an official announcement should come later on Tuesday, this move shouldn't really come as much of a surprise considering Suzuki is 65 hits away from 3,000 in his career. The skills certainly tapered off in 2015 (.229/.282/.279 in 438 at-bats this season), however he does provide some versatility in the outfield and at the very least could represent a terrific marketing asset as he approaches his career milestone.
