The Los Angeles Dodgers have a yearly tradition of appointing an honorary player-manager for the final game of the regular season, providing there are no playoff implications, and Jimmy Rollins has been selected as this year's lucky player to fill the role.

Rollins, one of the elder statesman of the club at 36 years of age, immediately lightened the mood by wearing Tommy Lasorda's legendary No. 2 jersey, along with a belly pad.
