Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Dodgers will open their National League Division Series against the New York Mets with two of the top pitchers in baseball.

Cy Young candidates Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke will start Games 1 and 2 at Dodgers Stadium, the team announced Tuesday, with left-hander Brett Anderson receiving the assignment for Game 3 in New York.

The Mets, who took four of seven from the Dodgers this season, will counter with Jacob deGrom, Noah Syndergaard, and Matt Harvey for the first three games of the series.

Los Angeles secured home-field advantage in the NLDS with its 2-1 win over the San Diego Padres on Saturday.

First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 9:45 p.m. ET on Friday.
