The Los Angeles Angels announced a number of moves Tuesday, including the reinstatement of several players from the disabled list.

Most notable of the players coming back to the Angels is starting third baseman David Freese, who will slot into the lineup when the team meets the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday.

Freese will bat seventh and play third.

The 32-year-old is hitting .240/.309/.706 with 11 home runs and 43 RBIs.

Los Angeles also reinstated outfielders Collin Cowgill and Matt Joyce, infielder Taylor Featherston, and right-hander Cory Rasmus.

The team also recalled catcher Jett Bandy and right-handers Michael Morin and Nick Tropeano from Triple-A Salt Lake, selected the contract of southpaw Wesley Wright, and designated outfielder Alfredo Marte and right-hander Drew Rucinski for assignment.
