Major League Baseball handed Sanchez a three-game ban for intentionally throwing at Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar last weekend, and rather than appeal, Sanchez decided it was best to just get it out of the way. The 23-year-old Sanchez has now gone six straight appearances without allowing a hit, and should be a valuable source of holds so long as he remains in a setup role.
