Aaron Sanchez: Suspended Three Games

Sanchez has been suspended three games for intentionally throwing at Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar during Sunday's game, Bill Shaikin of the LA Times reports.

Analysis:

Sanchez was also fined an undisclosed amount for his actions Sunday. If he does not appeal, the suspension will begin Tuesday against the Twins, and Sanchez would be eligible to return Friday when Toronto begins a three-game set against the division-leading Yankees.
