The greatest pitcher to ever wear an Arizona Diamondbacks uniform will have his number retired Saturday at Chase Field, but that's not the only way the club will honor Randy Johnson.

The Diamondbacks, in conjunction with New Era Cap, have constructed a commemorative patch that will be featured on the hats of Diamondbacks players, who will also wear No. 51 on their batting practice jerseys and wear an additional patch on their game shirts.

Here's a sneak peek courtesy of ESPN's Darren Rovell:

Johnson, who was enshrined in Cooperstown as member of the Diamondbacks last month, will join Luis Gonzalez and Jackie Robinson (honored by all clubs) as the only players to have their numbers retired by the franchise.
