Another trade target has emerged for the Toronto Blue Jays ahead of Friday's trade deadline.

Mike Leake of the Cincinnati Reds is reportedly among the starting pitchers Toronto is considering in acquiring. Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports adds that the Blue Jays are considering many pitchers of similar talent levels and are looking for the best acquisition cost for any potential deal.

Leake has had a strong season on a struggling Reds team, sporting a 9-5 record in 21 starts. He also has a 3.56 ERA and a career-best 1.15 WHIP so far in 2015. The right-hander has an expiring contract making him a strong potential rental if Toronto fails to grab a bigger name.

Other pitchers the Blue Jays have been linked to include David Price of the Detroit Tigers, Tyson Ross of the San Diego Padres, Jeff Samardzija of the Chicago White Sox, Carlos Carrasco of the Cleveland Indians, and Padres closer Craig Kimbrel.
