The Colorado Rockies made waves Tuesday when they sent star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki to the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Rockies were reportedly also shopping stud outfielder Carlos Gonzalez.

The rumblings could be false, however, as manager Walt Weiss went on MLB Radio on Wednesday to discuss the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.

"These things are tough to predict, I don't expect anything else big before the end of the deadline," Weiss said.

Following a 7-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday night - without Tulowitzki - Weiss believed he was shown the team's overall character.

"These guys are in a good place, it's a big deal losing a guy like Tulo, but the team showed what they were made of last night," he said.
