Analysis:
It's about the same length as the timetable Freese faced for a similar injury in May of 2014. Manager Mike Scioscia noted that much of Freese's inflammation has already gone away, opening up the possibility that the third baseman -- who was placed on the DL on Thursday -- may be able to resume working out in the next few days.
