VIDEO: Royals dugout floods during rainout against Rays

Denny Medley / USA TODAY Sports

Monday's matchup between the Kansas City Royals and Tampa Bay Rays has been postponed due to rain and tornado warnings.

The winds were so bad, it looked like it was raining sideways. In fact, rain is a subtle way of putting the torrential downpour parts of Missouri fell victim to.

So as the field became a giant pool, as did the dugouts. Naturally, Royals catcher Sal Perez filmed the whole thing.

In what was scheduled to be the first of a four-game set, starters for game one will be Matt Moore and Chris Young, while Matt Andriese and Edinson Volquez will toe the rubber in game two.
