VIDEO: Tigers' Iglesias puts on a defensive clinic

Jose Iglesias is proving, when healthy, he can be considered one of the elite defensive shortstops, along with the likes of Andrelton Simmons and Troy Tulowitzki.

The Detroit Tigers infielder will once again be featured in the highlight reels Friday night after he tracked a ball behind third base and threw out a runner from the outfield grass.

Iglesias, who appears on track to earn his first Gold Glove, was also among the league leaders in batting average early in the season before recently cooling off at the plate.
