Report: Rafael Soriano cutting ties with agent Scott Boras

Rafael Soriano is not happy about still being unemployed.
The veteran closer is firing his agent, Scott Boras, as he continues to linger on the free-agent market, reports James Wagner of the Washington Post.
Boras is notorious for waiting until the last minute in order to get the best deals for his clients, but his strategy has clearly backfired as a major league club has yet to sign his client.
Soriano boasts 207 career saves, and recorded a 3.19 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 64 appearances for the Washington Nationals a year ago.
The Miami Marlins and Chicago Cubs were rumored to have interest in the 35-year-old at different junctions this spring.
