The open spot in the rotation for Oberholtzer would be Monday against the Orioles. Feldman is expected to miss around six weeks with a torn meniscus, so Oberholtzer could hold a rotation spot for a while. The other option would be to recall a prospect like Vincent Velasquez, but it would seem logical that the Astros would give Oberholtzer a shot to show what he can do before dismissing him as a candidate.
