Josh Hamilton is home.
The troubled outfielder returned to Arlington for the first time on Thursday since being traded back to the Texas Rangers, and received a thunderous standing ovation from the home crowd prior to his first at-bat.
Hamilton responded by crushing the first pitch he saw down the right field line, and then flashed a smile once he rolled into second base for a double.

The warm reception had to be a special moment for the 2010 American League MVP, who shared his thoughts on returning to the club prior to the contest.
Hamilton finished 2-for-4 with an RBI in his first home game.
