Polanco was given the day off Wednesday with lefty Brad Hand on the hill for the Marlins, but he'll return to his usual right field spot Thursday against San Diego starter Ian Kennedy. Polanco is struggling at the plate this month, hitting just .203 with five RBI and 16 strikeouts in 74 at-bats.
