Chicago White Sox (19-24) at Toronto Blue Jays (22-26), 12:37 p.m. (ET)

(SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Blue Jays attempt to post their longest winning streak of the season on Wednesday afternoon and finish off a three- game sweep of the slumping Chicago White Sox.

The Blue Jays matched a season high with a third straight victory last night as Josh Donaldson capped off an incredible game with a walk-off, three-run homer off White Sox closer David Robertson for a 10-9 win.

Donaldson helped Toronto earn the win despite the Blue Jays blowing four leads in the game. They fell behind 9-7 when the White Sox plated three runs in the top of the eighth inning.

But Donaldson went 4-for-4, including a solo homer, and scored five runs. He is the first player in franchise history to post at least four hits, four RBI and five runs scored in a single game.

"I was sitting curveball...and was fortunate enough to hit it out," recalled Donaldson, who is hitting .315 on the year with a club-high 33 RBI. He also is tied with Edwin Encarnacion for the team lead with 12 homers.

Jose Bautista had three doubles and five RBI in his return to the Toronto lineup. Bautista sat out the previous two games after receiving a cortisone shot on Sunday to relieve pain in his right shoulder.

Toronto will try to sweep Chicago for the first time since a four-game set at home from May 15-18, 2009.

Adam Eaton, Jose Abreu and Alexei Ramirez all drove in runs during the eighth inning for the White Sox, who have lost four straight and seven of their last eight games overall. Abreu also hit a three-run homer and starter John Danks allowed six runs over five innings.

"We had the lead a couple of times and I gave it right back," Danks said. "I just have to pitch better."

Though coming off his longest start of the season, Toronto right-hander Marco Estrada tries to avoid a fourth straight losing decision on Wednesday.

Estrada logged seven innings of work in Fridays' 4-3 loss to Seattle, giving up four runs on six hits and three walks. He struck out five, falling to 1-3 with a 3.90 earned run average in 10 games with four starts on the season.

The 31-year-old is seeking his first victory of the month, having not won since April 28, and will be facing the White Sox for the first time.

Jeff Samardzija takes aim at a fourth straight winning decision this afternoon for the White Sox.

Samardzija posted his second straight eight-inning outing on Friday in a 3-2 win over the Minnesota Twins. He allowed two runs on just three hits and one walk, striking out a season-high nine batters.

"He just seemed to get stronger as he went through it," White Sox manager Robin Ventura said of Samardzija, who is 3-0 over his last four starts and 4-2 on the season with a 4.28 ERA.

The right-hander will be facing the Blue Jays for only the second time in his career. He picked up a victory over them in the first meeting, scattering a run and four hits over seven innings.
