Analysis:

Currently sidelined with inflammation in his left knee, Latos appears to have avoided major injury. He has, however, battled various malady's dating back to the start of 2014, including an injury to the meniscus in his left knee that required surgery. Stay tuned, as the true severity of the current injury will be put to the test when he steps on a mound over the weekend. Of course, Latos is off to a miserable start to the season with his new club, posting a 6.12 ERA and 1.59 WHIP over 42.2 innings pitched to go along with a 1-4 record in nine starts.
