Matt Harvey: Throws Bullpen Session Without Incident

Harvey threw a bullpen session Tuesday and is fine to make Friday's start against the Marlins, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports.

Analysis:

After Harvey was beat up in Saturday's loss to Pittsburgh, Mets manager Terry Collins said the right-hander may be dealing with dead arm. Harvey's velocity was at its usual elite level, and he said after the start that there's noting wrong. This really seems like nothing to worry about, especially with the Mets soon to deploy a six-man rotation that will help keep all of their starters rested.
