VIDEO: Stanton makes ridiculous catch, homers in following at-bat

Brad Mills / USA TODAY Sports

There's a reason the Miami Marlins handed Giancarlo Stanton $325 million: He's ridiculously good.

The two-time All-Star had his talents on full display at PNC Park on Monday. For his first act, Stanton tracked down a sharply hit ball and made a leaping catch at the wall for the final out of the second inning.

Stanton, who also opened the scoring with an RBI single, followed up the catch by launching a 365-foot, opposite-field home run in the third inning off Pittsburgh Pirates starter David Phelps.
