D'Arnaud (hand) will play in an extended spring game Tuesday, and is expected to make several rehab starts this week, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
Analysis:
Following the extended spring action, d'Arnaud will start his rehab at High-A Port St. Lucie before moving along to Triple-A Las Vegas. The Mets are optimistic that he could be back with the team for a road series with the Diamondbacks that begins June 4. They currently have three catchers on their roster, two of which will likely be sent down upon d'Arnaud's activation.
