Marlins' Jennings on 2nd win: 'Wins are like donuts ... you want to keep eating them'

Steve Mitchell / USA TODAY Sports

Just to be clear, no, this makes absolutely no sense. But it was said with good intention.

This is the product of a good-guy-turned-manager, to say the least. Following the Miami Marlins' 5-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles - their second in a row - rookie manager Dan Jennings was asked what it feels like to have a winning streak in the majors.

Needless to say, his answer was one for the ages.

"Wins are like donuts. You like them so much you want to keep eating them."

For the record, you can't eat wins. It's probably also worth noting that Jennings is 2-1 against Orioles manager Buck Showalter. So there's that.
