Cory Spangenberg has seen most of the time atop the order since Wil Myers (wrist) was forced out of action, but Solarte will get his first chance to lead off this season Friday against Zack Greinke. While Solarte is just 15-for-65 (.231 average) with three extra-base hits (all doubles) so far in May, he's getting on base at a .328 clip for the season and is batting .302/.356/.438 against right-handed pitching.
