National League Game Summary - Los Angeles at San Francisco

San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Tim Lincecum tossed seven shutout innings to help the San Francisco Giants in a 4-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night.

Buster Posey hit a two-run homer and scored twice to back Lincecum (4-2), who scattered three hits and struck out four in the win.

"He's pitching with a lot of confidence and swagger right now," said Giants manager Bruce Bochy.

San Francisco has won five straight games.

Brett Anderson (2-2) took the loss after surrendering three runs on six hits and three walks with seven strikeouts in 6 1/3 frames.

Hits and runs were hard to come by and that was evident in the top of the fifth. Yasmani Grandal doubled to lead off the frame and moved over to third on a wild pitch by Lincecum.

Los Angeles left him there, however, as Andre Ethier grounded out, Juan Uribe popped out and Joc Pederson grounded out following Anderson's walk.

San Francisco broke through in the sixth. Posey doubled and advanced to third on a groundout by Hunter Pence. After Justin Maxwell grounded out to the drawn-in infield and Andrew Susac walked, Brandon Crawford came up with a clutch single to left that gave the Giants a 1-0 lead.

Angel Pagan helped Lincecum get through the seventh unscathed as he made a leaping catch at the base of the wall in center.

The Giants opened it up a bit with a three-run seventh.

Casey McGehee walked to lead off and scored two batters later on a single by Joe Panik. Anderson's night ended on Panik's base hit, but Yimi Garcia could not keep the Dodgers close, allowing a two-run shot from Posey for a four-run edge.
