He is starting this road trip with Triple-A Tacoma and there are some things the Mariners want him to work on at Triple-A before getting back in the mix in Seattle. His ankle has also swollen up in recent days, so he may not play for Tacoma in the short term. A return in late-May is still possible, but expect him to remain with Tacoma this weekend.
