Wil Myers: (Wrist) Placed On 15-day DL

Myers (wrist) was placed on the 15-day DL on Tuesday.

Analysis:

The Padres have been playing a man short for over a week and were forced to make a roster move with Myers' left wrist still presenting issues. Right-hander Cory Mazzoni was added in a corresponding move. Myers will be eligible to return May 26, but it's uncertain if he'll be ready by that time. He took some swings in the cages Sunday, though the swings weren't at maximum effort.
