Padres place Wil Myers on 15-day DL with left wrist tendinitis

The San Diego Padres have placed Wil Myers on the 15-day disabled list with left wrist tendinitis.
Wil Myers said he's had a bone spur in his left wrist since middle school. Said inflamed tendon has been rubbing against it.

The move is retroactive to May 11, and the club has recalled right-hander Cory Mazzoni in a corresponding roster move.
Myers, who is hitting .291 with five home runs and 19 RBIs in 32 games, has been out since May 10 with the injury.
