Parra originally was expected to have a minimal DL stay, but he's going to need additional time. "He had a little bit of elbow tenderness that has been completely checked out. I don't want to say it's a non-issue...but it's been checked out," Reds manager Bryan Price said. "It's part of the aches and pains of throwing the baseball. He's getting very close to being back pitching again."
