Jason Heyward: Out Of The Lineup Saturday

Heyward is not in the lineup Saturday against the Pirates, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Analysis:

Heyward battled some hamstring and groin tightness earlier in the week, but there's been nothing to suggest this absence is related. Rather, it seems manager Mike Matheny simply doesn't like the matchup against lefty Francisco Liriano. Jon Jay will move over to right field in Heyward's absence as Peter Bourjos steps in at center.
