Vincent was recalled by the Padres on Friday, MLB.com's Corey Brock reports.
Analysis:
He got off to a bit of a rough start and was sent to Triple-A earlier in the season, but his velocity is where it was last year so there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with him. If Vincent's numbers from 2014 (2.77 FIP and 62 strikeouts in 55 innings) are any indication, he should be able to settle in as a key member of the Padres' bullpen over the rest of the season.
