Carl Crawford: (Oblique) Could Land On DL

Crawford (oblique) may require a stint on the disabled list, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Crawford will be re-evaluated Tuesday, after exiting Monday's game against the Giants in the third inning due to tightness in his right side. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said he thinks it's an oblique injury, adding that it could take about a month to heal. If Crawford misses an extended period of time, it will free up some at-bats for Alex Guerrero, Scott Van Slyke and Andre Ethier.
