Both Royals-White Sox games Saturday postponed due to rain

Matt Marton / USA TODAY Sports

The wet weather in the Windy City continues to wreak havoc on the Chicago White Sox's series with the Kansas City Royals

After Friday's game was postponed in the ninth inning and rescheduled to resume Saturday afternoon prior to their regularly scheduled game, both have been scrapped due to rain in the forecast.

Friday's suspended game will now resume prior to Sunday's regularly scheduled game, while a makeup date for Saturday's game has yet to be determined.

The Royals won Thursday's fight-filled series opener 3-2 in 13 innings, while game two of the series remains tied 2-2.
