Rockies' Dickerson dealing with mild plantar fasciitis in his left foot

Chris Humphreys / USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

Colorado Rockies outfielder Corey Dickerson is dealing with mild plantar fasciitis in his left foot and his status moving forward is uncertain, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Dickerson exited Monday's game against the Padres after two unfruitful at bats. He was replaced by Drew Stubbs and Stubbs seems to be the likely candidate for extra reps in the outfield if Dickerson is forced to miss extended time. Until the Rockies shed some light on the situation, Dickerson should be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's game against the Padres.
