Orioles' Jones unfazed by Fenway Park hecklers: 'You can't do anything but love playing here'

Baltimore Orioles star outfielder Adam Jones enjoys playing at Fenway Park, even if the fans aren't the most hospitable.

"I don't mind this park at all," Jones told MASN following Sunday's 8-3 win over the Boston Red Sox. "I was getting (cursed) out all day. I need to call my mom. Apparently, she's in Boston from a few fans' comments. So I'm going to call my mom and see if she's in Boston. I didn't know, I would love to have dinner with her.

"But I do enjoy playing here. It's a great atmosphere for baseball. So you can't do anything but love playing here."

Jones let his bat do the talking as the Orioles split the four-game series with their division rival. The four-time All-Star went 8-for-16 (.500) with one home run and five RBIs.

Hitting at Fenway shouldn't come as any surprise for Jones though, with the 10-year vet owning a .277/.324/.451 slash line to go with 10 home runs, 12 doubles and 35 RBIs in 64 games at the 103-year-old park.
