The pageantry of Opening Day is over and done with, but there were still plenty of captivating highlights from the second week of the 2015 campaign.

Here are the top five plays of the week:

5. Souza sends one into orbit

Acquired from the Washington Nationals this winter, Steven Souza continues to impress with his new club in Tampa Bay. The 25-year-old launched an absolutely mammoth home run Tuesday in Toronto - his first of two homers in the series - that travelled about 700 feet, according to Blue Jays left-hander Daniel Norris.

4. Mookie makes magic in Fenway opener

After stumbling through a rough first week on the road, Red Sox youngster Mookie Betts put on an unforgettable display in his club's first home game of the season. Betts, 22, dazzled with his glove, legs and bat on Monday afternoon at Fenway Park.

3. Arenado sacrifices body to make stunning grab

Eager to land his third consecutive Gold Glove award, Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado put his body at risk when he made this sensational grab in foul territory Tuesday night in San Francisco.

2. Pillar imitates Spider Man, steals home run from Tim Beckham

Kevin Pillar stated his case to remain in the Blue Jays' lineup when injured outfielder Michael Saunders returns from the disabled list yet again Wednesday night, making arguably the catch of the year to rob Tim Beckham of a homer.

1. Lester uses head, tosses mitt to get the out

Though his tenure in Chicago has gotten off to a rocky start, Jon Lester surely earned some respect on the North Side with this heady play in Sunday's series finale against the San Diego Padres.
