Carrasco to return Tuesday after swapping starts with Bauer in Indians rotation

Carlos Carrasco (jaw) will switch spots with Trevor Bauer in the Cleveland Indians rotation and instead start Tuesday against the White Sox, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.

Analysis:

Carrasco's start had already been pushed back a day, but this time around it will likely cost him a two-start week. He continues to make steady progress after being hit in the head with a comebacker Tuesday, but it makes sense to see the Indians take a conservative approach considering the nature of the injury. Trevor Bauer will take his spot in Monday's series opener.
