Braun will be moved back to his customary third spot in the lineup Sunday against the Pirates.

Analysis:

With Carlos Gomez (hamstring) hitting the disabled list Thursday, manager Ron Roenicke decided to experiment with Braun in the leadoff role Saturday, hoping it would spark a stagnant offense. While Braun did his part by reaching base three times, the Brewers missed his bat in the middle of the lineup and were only able to scratch two runs across the board on the evening. Jean Segura will slot in at the top spot in the order Sunday, but there might not be much reason to expect Braun to supply much power upon moving back to the three hole. All nine of his hits this season have been singles, leaving his slugging percentage at a measly .265 through 10 games.
