Carlos Gomez: (Hamstring) Will Undergo More Tests

Gomez is returning to Milwaukee on Thursday to have his injured right hamstring examined, MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports.

Analysis:

As expected, the injury will prevent Gomez from playing in Thursday's game, and Gerardo Parra will start in center field in his place. Gomez is holding out hope that he will be able to avoid a stint on the disabled list, but he was spotted walking gingerly on Thursday morning, and noted that he is not feeling good at all. Expect the Brewers to release an update on Gomez's status following his trip to the doctor.
