Ryan Braun: MRI Shows No Significant Injury
An MRI on Braun's rib cage showed no significant injury and he's hopeful he'll be out for only a game or two, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis:
"I feel better today than I did [Monday], so that's always a telltale sign," Braun said. He went on to say that he was "very encouraged" by the results of the MRI, though he didn't go into detail regarding what the test showed. Gerardo Parra is starting in right field Tuesday against the Rockies' Jordan Lyles, with Adam Lind batting third in Braun's place.
