MARQUEE MATCHUP

AL Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber and the Indians face World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner and the San Francisco Giants.

KNEES IMPROVING

Cleveland's Nick Swisher will play in his first major league game Wednesday, serving as the designated hitter against San Francisco. Swisher, who is recovering from surgery on both knees, will accompany the Indians to Houston for opening day but will be on the disabled list. After Houston, he will return to Goodyear for extended spring training. The team will then send Swisher to Double-A Akron or Triple-A Columbus to work up to playing consecutive games in the outfield before he's ready to join the big league club.

ONE MORE

NORTH OF THE BORDER

The Toronto Blue Jays will conclude their Grapefruit League schedule against the Red Sox in Fort Myers, Florida. They then will travel to Montreal for games against Cincinnati on Friday and Saturday at Olympic Stadium, where the Expos played before moving to Washington after the 2004 season.

HEALED FINE

Miami's Jarred Cosart gets the ball in a start against the Washington Nationals at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida. Cosart was scratched from his previous outing because of a blister on his middle finger.
