Nick Martinez has been named to the Texas Rangers' rotation, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Analysis:
Martinez was battling with Nick Tepesch and Lisalverto Bonilla for the final spot in the Rangers' rotation, but appears to have emerged from the pack. However, given the plethora of pitchers available to the team, he may not enter the season with a long leash.
